a. Hedge Fund Operations - Relationship Manager

Supervising a team of Customer Service Representatives responsible for servicing AIS's hedge fund clients. The team's responsibilities include:

• Trade entry (via file upload processes) into Portfolio accounting system
• Transmission of trades to Prime Brokers
• Confirmation of trades (where applicable) with Executing Brokers
• Reconciliation of trades, investment positions and cash balances to external third parties (banks, prime brokers, counter parties)
• Resolution of trade differences
• Entry of journals into general ledger system
• Valuation of security portfolios
• Preparation of NAV allocations

In addition, the Relationship Manager develops and implements procedures to ensure a high quality of client service. This is a hands-on role and the successful applicant will be required to participate in the daily responsibilities of the team as necessary.

Candidates must have a CPA designation and strong pc skills (excel). Prior exposure to financial markets, either directly, through line responsibilities, or through audit is required. Experience with the use of Bloomberg is also helpful.

b. Hedge Fund Operations - Customer Service Rep

The responsibilities include

• Trade entry (via file upload processes) into portfolio accounting system
• Transmission of trades to prime brokers
• Confirmation of trades (where applicable) with executing brokers
• Valuation of client portfolios
• Reconciliation of trades, investment positions and cash balances to external third parties (banks, prime brokers, counterparties)
• Resolution of trade differences
• Entry of journals into general ledger system
• Preparation of NAV calculations

Candidates will be working in a fast paced environment and so need to react positively to change and have a can-do attitude.

Qualifications:

• Good pc skills (particularly excel)
• Basic accounting
• An educational background in finance and prior exposure to financial markets are helpful
